Some of this authors books I can not get enough of. I have read most of the Sharpe books, all of the Aurthur trilogy, am on the current Saxon series (#5 I think) so I thought to try his civil war books. I do not think I will continue.
This had good characters, a good story but some of the attention to detail and setup that I find interesting in the other books was not here.
He is one of the best Historical fiction authors and that means something.
